Neuropsychological and Nonverbal assessments include:
- an intake session with parents/guardians (approximately 1 hour).
- all testing sessions necessary.
- a feedback session with parents/guardians to review written results and discuss recommendations (approximately 90 minutes).
Neuropsychological and Non Verbal evaluations:

$20 administration fee at the time of scheduling to cover paperwork and/or parent and teacher survey materials that will be distributed

$230 of the total fee is due at the intake appointment.

Payment for 50% of the total is expected on the first day of testing.

The remaining balance is expected when results and a final report are received.
For Dyslexia Only or Pre-School Evaluation's Only:

Neuropsychological and Educational Evaluation
For students ages 5 to 25, our neuropsychologist spends roughly 10 hours with each student and their family. A full neurological and psychoeducational assessment explores how cognitive, attention, and emotional/behavioral factors may be hindering academic, social, or functional success. This is our most commonly requested assessment, as it covers all possible areas of difficulty, including attention, learning, emotional/behavioral, and other disorders. Assessments typically include:intelligence testing
memory testing
achievement testing in all academic areas
behavior/emotional/social assessment as needed
testing of all neuropsychological processing areas appropriate, such as processing speed, visual-motor skills, visual-perceptual skills, auditory processing skills, phonological processing skills, attention/concentration skills, oral language, retrieval speed
comprehensive written report (typically 15 -25 pages) with suggestions for intervention
Nonverbal learning Disability Diagnostic / Neuropsychological Evaluation:
Kids who have nonverbal learning disorders (NVLD) do not have trouble decoding language, reading, or learning information in a rote way. The problems manifested in learning are understanding information — relationships, concepts, ideas, patterns. These deficits can affect a child’s ability to do a surprising variety of things. Physical coordination, social interaction, problem solving, organizing thoughts, planning — all these things are need for academic success.- Behavioral / Social Skills assessment

Irlen Screening
Irlen Screening is provided for people who have trouble with reading, learning difficulties, low motivation, ADD, headaches, autism and traumatic brain injury.- determine the severity of your condition and will identify which color of the overlay will provide the most benefit for you.
- Generally, you will receive a color overlay—basically, a plastic sheet that you can place over a page with writing on it—so you can gauge the level of improvement. Only those with moderate to severe Irlen Syndrome need to proceed to the next step.

Consultation Services
- Our psychologists are happy to meet with you in person or via phone or Zoom regarding concerns about your child’s progress, to review previously completed testing, IEP, or other paperwork, or discuss whether or not an evaluation may be appropriate at this time. We are also available to attend meetings with school staff and provide support for implementation of evaluation recommendations and educational programming.
