Neuropsychological & Educational Evaluation

A full psychoeducational assessment explores how cognitive, attention, and emotional/behavioral factors may be hindering academic, social, or functional success. This is our most commonly requested assessment, as it covers all possible areas of difficulty, including attention, learning, emotional / behavioral, and other disorders.

Dyslexia (or Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia) Only

Comprehensive intelligence testing, phonological processing, processing speed, retrieval speed, working memory, visual-motor skills (may vary depending on specific case). Achievement testing in basic reading, reading comprehension, reading fluency, spelling (or in specific areas of written expression or math).

Non Verbal Learning Disorder

NVLD – Nonverbal Learning Disorder is a complex condition characterized by a discrepancy between verbal and visuospatial reasoning skills, often impacting fine motor skills, attention, executive functioning and / or social interactions.

LD/Dyslexia Screener

A briefer assessment for young students who may at risk for learning concerns or those preferring screening before a comprehensive evaluation. We evaluate cognitive processing, emerging academic skills, and and early risk indicators of dyslexia.
If indicated, evidence-based targeted recommendations are outlined to intervene early before more significant problems occur.

Irlen Screening

Irlen Syndrome screening and testing are provided for people who have difficulty with reading, learning difficulties, low motivation, ADD, headaches, autism, or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Irlen Syndrome is a visual processing problem, where certain colors of the light spectrum tend to irritate the brain. It is not a problem with the eyes. It is a problem with the way the brain processes visual information
